Windows Printer SSL Installation
- Obtain the custom certificate file in .pfx format.
- Login to the 1Retail solution and navigate to "Register" > "Stores".
- Click on the store that you are setting up, or create a new store if you haven't already.
- Go to the "Registers" tab, select the register that you are setting up, or create a new register if you haven't already.
- Input the printer's IP address and check the "Generate Printer SSL Cert" checkbox.
- Hit "Save" and reopen the register settings.
- Select "Download" from the certificate section to obtain the custom SSL certificate.
- Transfer the certificate file to the Windows computer, either by emailing it to yourself and downloading it, or by downloading it from a secure source directly to the computer.
- Double-click on the certificate file to open it.
- The Certificate Import Wizard will open. Click "Next."
- Select "Place all certificates in the following store" and click "Browse."
- Choose "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" and click "OK."
- Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the certificate installation.
- A security warning may appear, confirming that you want to install the certificate. Click "Yes" to proceed.
- The custom certificate should now be installed and trusted by the Windows computer.
